Charlotte's Northern Footprint.

North Charlotte is comprised of Mecklenberg County and Cabarrus County.  Collectively it takes up a large section and footprint of the metro.  Just North of NoDa you will find countless residential areas and many tourist attractions.  Just to name a few: The Concord Mills - home of the largest outdoor premium outlets in the state of North Carolina.  If you're a NASCAR fan, one of the best tracks in the world is right of I-85, the Charlotte Motor Speedway.  There is shopping and residential developments in the new and revitalized North Lake area, home to one of the three regional Charlotte malls.  Endless golf courses and one of the largest subdivisions can be found in Highland Creek and Skybrook. 

The Light-rail has been under constant construction to complete it's public transportation to connect the University City and Davidson communities to the heart of Uptown.  The University City area is home to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, this neighborhood is buzzing with school and city spirit and is constantly going through a rapid amount of growth.  What you can find around the community is countless bars, pubs, and restaurants.  There are vibrant botanical gardens, and is the home to one of the greatest music venues within the city, The PNC Music Pavilion.  This outdoor music venue regularly hosts big-name acts and headlines many tours. 

Explore more than 12 miles of greenways at the Reedy Creek Nature Center and Preserve or enjoy the history buffs that will educate you on a tour with the Historic Rosedale Plantation.  It is a 15 room federal-era home and a gardens.
